SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA might be rendering expert services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it can be alarmed with regard to the significant number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office devoted to service the area each day. The service position produced for intervention activities a high influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.
